SAME (Sophia Antipolis forum on MicroElectronics) is now in its fourth year. It attracts over 700 scientists and engineers to discuss the most recent advances, unique applications and future trends in the field of design and manufacturing of integrated circuits and systems.

SAME 2000 was a success and has become a major European event in the Micro electronics sector :
    - More than 650 visitors, 40 speakers and 30 exhibitors.
    - Important actors in this sector were represented : EDA, Semi-conductors, etc.
    - Business and partnerships were concluded during this event.
    - The national and international specialized press were present and interviewed conference speakers and company representatives.

Today, scientists from more than 15 companies actively participate to the technical committee of SAME 2001.

SAME 2001 initiated by the Club HI TECH in partnership with the French Chamber of Commerce Nice Côte d'Azur and with the support of local and regional institutions, provides a venue for discussions and demonstrations with the opportunity to meet exhibitors displaying microelectronics related products. The recognized quality of the technical conferences has contributed to the growing success of this event, highly accredited by researchers and the microelectronic industry.
