Start-up Experiences
This session intends to provide insight in the creation process of a startup company by learning from the personal experiences of the founders of three more or less recent established companies. Relevant aspects to be covered are how they came to the idea, which skills and resources they had available and how they coped with those that were missing - may it be capital, network or other. Interesting will be what kind of unexpected problems were experienced and how these were overcome, how markets were entered and suppliers found. Personal experienced factors for success will be highlighted as well as the relevance of using partnerships & collaborations for the companies's development. It will be mentioned how products went through stages of innovation, industrialization and ramp-up to production.
